Y llegaron la vacaciones de Navidad...SUGERENCIAS

Casi sin enterarnos se ha pasado el primer trimestre...

Para estas vacaciones,  además de pasarlo muy bien, disfrutar EN FAMILIA y NO abusar de las consolas y móviles... algunas SUGERENCIAS para los que quieran repasar o adelantar trabajo:

• La lectura de un libro y realización de la correspondiente ficha (con bolígrafo, ajustándose al espacio del resumen y de la opinión personal, sin faltas de ortografía, sin repeticiones, bien redactada...) Que ya servirá para el 2º trimestre.
• Repaso de tablas de multiplicar y operaciones básicas (sumar, restas, multiplicar, dividir). ¡A la vuelta de vacaciones todos tenéis que conseguir vuestro certificado de tablas!
• Terminar las portadas de los cuadernos del 2º Trimestre.
• Ver alguna película o serie en inglés (con subtítulos en español) y buscar la letra de alguna canción que nos guste para aprendérnosla y sin darnos cuenta, mejorar poco a poco nuestra capacidad de listening.
• Leer algún libro online en inglés mediante alguna de estas dos páginas: storynory y OxfordOwl. Ambas páginas incluyen el audio de las historias. En OxfordOwl hay que crearse cuenta pero es completamente gratuita. Una vez creada la cuenta, seleccionad "Oxford Owl for home" haced click en la pestaña "Books" y en "Free ebooks for ages 3-11" y podréis seleccionar distintos filtros para elegir la historia. Hay desde libros súper sencillitos hasta otros que os resultarán complicados. Id probando y poco a poco subiendo el nivel, ¡a vuestro ritmo!

NATURAL SCIENCE: LIVING THINGS I: VERTEBRATE ANIMALS

Hello everybody!

As you know, these weeks we are studying the first of three units about living things. In this unit, we have become experts on the 5 groups of vertebrate animals: mammals🐄, birds🐦, reptiles🐍, amphibians🐸 and fish🐡.

This unit, we have 26 mini teachers in each class. Each group has studied one vertebrate type and we are creating amazing posters to explain our partners all about these animals!

With this information, we are completing this lapbook with everything we must know about vertebrate animals. Once all the groups have presented their work to the rest of the class, we will spend some lessons to review the contents. For this reason, we will have the exam right after Christmas, on Friday, 10th January 2020. 

❗What do we need to know for this exam?

• What are vertebrate and invertebrate animals?
• The information we have collected in our lapbooks about the 5 groups of vertebrates and examples of each group.

If you have paid attention to your friends' presentation at school and you have studied the content of the lapbook at home, you're super ready for the exam!

ENGLISH UNIT 3: LET'S SHOW WHAT WE KNOW!

Next Thursday, 12th we have the English exam of unit 3. Remember that we will have listening, speaking, reading and writing exercises.

❗What do we need to know?

- The vocabulary of the unit (Use your picture dictionary to study).
